| Author`s comment | Bog Life / Bird Life: A Photographic Journal This study posted daily from February 2006 to the present is a study of nature and the transitions of light and time as events occur and as a recording of the transforming landscape through the four seasons. It is an ongoing story unfolding in the shadow of Pleasant Mountain, a story of the emergence of spring, the approaching of summer, the onslaught of color in the fall and the renewal of winter. The birds are part of this observation of the inhabitants of the Bog. All this divergence or convergence of rays of light recorded as bits of information in a memory card is reworked on the computer, where new technologies equal new perceptions. |
